It's the last week of summer! It's time to enjoy this beautiful weather while it lasts. Food For Thought is happy to provide you with an excuse to spend some time outside this week!
Tuesday, September 22nd
5:00pm-8:00pm - Come on down to Friendship Farms and help out on the farm. The address is 9960 S Berkey Southern Rd, Waterville, OH 43566
Wednesday, September 23rd
9:30am-noon - 1-2 volunteers needed at Dominion Fellowship Church mobile pantry, 720 W. Delaware Toledo, OH 43610

Saturday, September 26th
8:00am-11:00am; 11:00am-1:30pm - 1-2 volunteers needed for each shift at the Toledo Farmers Market - 525 Market Street, Toledo, OH
11:00am-12:00pm - 5-10+ volunteers needed for downtown lunch distribution - 316 Adams Street, Toledo, OH
10:00am-5:00pm* - 2-3 volunteers needed at BGSU for STEM in the Park @ Perry Field House/The Big Event @ BGSU Student Union - Two great events: One to promote science, technology, engineering, and math among young kids and families and the other held by the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio to celebrate girls and their achievements.
*Volunteers are particularly needed from 2-5pm at the BIG Event to staff our booth and conduct activities for the kids in attendance. If you are interested in volunteering at this event, contact me at laura@feedtoledo.org for further information.
