Zion's worship team will have representatives from a variety of agencies that help to feed the hungry at worship March 10 as part of a service that celebrates God's call for us to help others.
Rev. Keeler will preach on the story of the beggar Lazarus and the rich man, and we will allow agencies to set up displays in the narthex. Representatives of the agencies -- including the Holiday Bureau and Friendly Center -- will be encouraged to be available to speak one on one with members of the church.
We will also conduct a special food drive for Friendly Center's pantry that week.
Both Holy Thursday and Good Friday services with Trinity UCC will take place this month at Zion. Each service will begin at 7:30 p.m. We will celebrate a joint communion on Thursday and the Good Friday service will be a Service of Darkness.
